Great shots! I need to get down to Santa Fe; it's been too long.

Thanks! I love Santa Fe - we've visited it more than other cities in the area in the last few years 😂

The Sangre's are old stomping grounds for my family, especially the ones north of Blanca Peak. We had property up north near Westcliffe in the Wet Mountains-.very beautiful country sixty years ago and now.

What a gorgeous place to camp. Amazing mountains, clouds and images.

Thank you! It'll be interesting to see what it's like when there's no clouds and just boring sunny skies 😂

Fantastic photos! What kind of adventure can do you recommend? Is it small enough to be a daily driver as well?

We have a Dodge Ram Promaster, the same build as an Amazon van. It drives well and fits in any parking spot. Once my husband's Subaru dies, it will become his daily driver. A lot of other people drives Mercedes Sprinters (hella expensive) and Ford Transits (more than we wanted to spend). A couple of our friends have the extended Ford Transits so they have a bit more space than us. Our Promaster works for exactly what we want.

Nice! We have a pull behind camper that we're trying to sell. I'm curious about an adventure van.

That plateau❤️ I spent a week up there looking for the wild horses that are supposed to be there. We went around on every lesser used road we could find. At the end of it we found 2 extremely shy horses.

I didn't know there were wild horses there! That's amazing!

They are one of the few recognized herds in New Mexico. However, when we spoke to the Forest service ranger at the Santa Fe farmer’s market- they knew nothing about them. No one I spoke to in Santa Fe knew anything. I came across one person’s blog about them and their history.
