Awesome shots! Your shot of Haleakala was magnificent; I did this same trip in early September and got some great photos as well. Glacier is on my list, possibly in June this year. Yellowstone too. We hit Montana the year Yellowstone roads were devastated by flooding and couldn’t visit the park that year. Your moon photo is great. My favorite is your last one of the deer in the fog. Love the entire scene. Well done!
I really enjoyed looking at all of your photos here, but #1 was definitely my favourite too. The whole mood created by the fog and the deer (?) is just wonderful.
I like your statement at the top “This list is MY favorite shots of the year, but not necessarily the best images I took.”
How true. I was talking with a photographer who does lots of art fairs in Colorado and he pointed out his favorite photo does not sell hardly at all. His top sellers are ones he likes but are not what he prefers. For me, as the photographer that took the picture, part of what I enjoy so much in the photo is tied to the feeling the moment I took the photo. Can I, as the author of the work, separate the place and time where the photo was taken from the image as an end result?
All of the photos you selected are great. Well done. And what makes them especially great for you is, you were there! Well done.
I love all of these! Some great photography you took this past year! Hard to pick a favorite, but for me it would be Glacier (of course), the black and white one, #4. It just speaks to me more than the others. Maybe because I looked at the same landscape this past year... The deer in Yellowstone os another favorite, as well as Bowman Lake in Glacier - you caught the perfect light at the right moment! But they are all wonderful! :)
Wow, beautiful photos! My favorite is no1, it is out of this world! And I like all photos with clouds in the sky :)
Thank you Gabi!
Thanks for sharing your magical photos from 2024!
1 = #1
Followed closely by 2 and 9
Thanks Greg! And thanks for picking your favorites 🤗

#6 by far. Ansel couldn't have done better.
Ha! I caught Ansel? 😂 Thanks Michael!
Every one worthy of being #1. Just perfect!
Cherie, that's so kind! Thank you!

Great collection! I really like the one with the deer, the moon and of course the crazy skies reflected!! ✨
Thank you Kelly!
All beautiful images, thanks for sharing! I find it so challenging to photograph the moon, what’s your secret? :)
A telephoto lens, a bright moon, and a fast shutter speed ❤️
I like them all but am partial to the deer!
Truly stunning work. Love all of them.
Thank you so much, Glenn!
The fog and the deeer have an essence that defies comparison with other photos: Barvo
Thank you so much, Jill!
