I've been up and down that road many times when I was at Fort Carson a long, long time ago. I'd take my little Saab Sonett up it as fast as I could till the gravel would make me slow down. Is it paved all the way to the top now?
I think that the romance of the raceway diminished when they paved the road, there was always the possibility of the driver shooting off the road and down the mountain.

Fair enough. I still feel like a few were driving like they wanted to drive off the road...
