I'm always amazed at how close GotG is to town. It's easy to forget that you are within the boarders of the Springs.

Absolutely! There are a few parks in Colorado Springs (Palmer, Ute, GOG) where you completely forget you're in a city of over a half million people.

This is great! I've been to GoG, there's an old Substack post somewhere in my archives about it. But doing it in the snow! Now, that's magical.

These are great Rachel, for me, the Tower of Babel is my favourite, mainly because the lovely twisting road gives a sense of scale to the landscape, without that I was having trouble working out how big anything was. A beautiful place to spend time in. 🙂

That is truly beautiful in the snow! I don’t think I’ll ever get out there to see that park, but there is a Garden of Gods park in Southern Illinois, which I get to visit.
