You perfectly captured the delicate beauty of lilac clusters. Last year, my lilac was practically drooping with blossoms; this year, I literally counted two. I'm in Northern Nevada and the winter last year was much harsher and longer, so I was surprised when the lilac wasn't at least as productive as a year ago. Oh well, there's always next year! Thank you for sharing!
Lovely photos! Yes, we have a lilac bush in Flagstaff, AZ. It reminds me of my Grandma's lilacs in Wisconsin and I watch for it to bloom right around Mother's Day every year. Some years there isn't much, but this year we had a good two weeks!

Thank you, Janelle! Back in Iowa, there was never a "low" blossom count, so it's good to know that winters can affect that!
Lilacs must be appreciated!
Always! They're the best!
Beautiful.
First blooms are something to rejoice about.
